A facilitated meeting occurred at the Airlie Convention Center, Warrenton, Virginia on April 19-21, 2013. Representatives from the seven US MERA organizations spent two days working with facilitators to achieve the original goals. The process included open dialogue and active listening from all participants. We took the first steps at learning to work effectively together for the benefit of mothers, babies, and families. Information was shared, and trust was built. The original goals set forth for the meeting were achieved.
