Please join us in welcoming Anjelica Malone, MSM, CPM, IBCLC, LM as our new Program Administrator at the North American Registry of Midwives.
Anjelica brings an impressive wealth of experience to NARM, with over two decades in healthcare and 15 years specifically focused on maternal-child health. Her diverse background spans clinical practice, education, policy development, and international collaborationβall of which will be invaluable to the NARM community.

As a Certified Professional Midwife herself, Anjelica deeply understands the importance of NARM’s mission to maintain rigorous standards in midwifery credentialing. Throughout her career, she has shown an unwavering dedication to advancing equitable maternal health outcomes, particularly in historically underserved communities. Her experience, ranging from serving military families overseas, refugees navigating the U.S. healthcare system, and socially isolated communities reflects her commitment to accessible, culturally sensitive care.
Anjelica’s work extends beyond clinical practice into education and advocacy. She has trained midwifery students and clinical staff, developed curriculum, and contributed to drafting direct-entry midwifery legislation as a board member of the Midwives Association of Puerto Rico. Most recently, she mentored midwifery faculty in Liberia through the Peace Corps’ Virtual Service Pilot, fostering sustainable improvements in maternal healthcare training.
In her role as Program Administrator, Anjelica will focus on optimizing NARMβs application workflows, strengthening the credentialing process, and enhancing membership engagement. Her expertise in policy development and program implementation will be instrumental as we continue to uphold the highest standards in midwifery certification.
She looks forward to collaborating with all of you to advance independent midwifery practice and support the next generation of providers.
Sincerely,
Brynne Potter
Executive Director
