Neonatal Resuscitation and CPR Requirements

Neonatal resuscitation and adult CPR certification is required for all certification and recertification applications. Courses must be approved by NARM and include a hands on skills evaluation.

Approved Courses:
Neonatal Resuscitation (AAP NRP) – http://www.aap.org/nrp/default.html
Helping Babies Breathe (AAP) – http://www.helpingbabiesbreathe.org/

CPR must be from the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association. NARM strongly encourages CPR be Health Care Provider courses.

CPR and/or Neonatal Resuscitation may not be used as part of your CEU totals.
