Hello,

very nice to find this forum! I have been apprenticing with a traditional midwife in Minnesota for the past 2 years. I am also a member of a pretty dynamic and busy study group with several other apprentices and a few women who are interested in midwifery. I have been a doula for 9 years now ( yikes!),part of that doula experience was in a very high volume program setting with the majority of women low-income and ESL. It was wonderful. I am also almost eligible to sit for the IBCLC ( I need a few more contact hours).

I am married have 2.6 children ( due with #3 in May) and am taking a break from births until this new one is a few months old. I am at that wonderful junction of developing more advanced skills, deepening my didactic knowledge and in the throws of NARM paperwork! Great to meet you all!
